Our Episode 21 guest is Daniel Dawes, a widely respected scholar, researcher, educator, and leader in the health equity, health reform and mental health movements. He is executive director of the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and a professor of health law, policy, and management. Daniel is also co-founder of the Health Equity Leadership and Exchange Network, and he is author of two books – 150 Years of Obamacare and The Political Determinants of Health. In this conversation, we talk about the political determinants of health and health equity.
